// Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about TaskTied.

From the first estimate to the final review, TaskTied keeps contractors and clients working from the same project record.

Is TaskTied for small contractors or larger teams?

TaskTied works for both. Start with a small crew or bring an entire operation into one shared workspace. Add team members as your business grows and assign permissions based on what each person needs to access, so the right people can stay informed without creating unnecessary complexity.

Do my clients need to download an app?

No. Clients can access TaskTied on the web, or use the iOS and Android apps if they prefer. That means they can review updates, approve estimates, pay invoices, and stay connected to the project from the device that works best for them.

Can clients pay invoices securely online?

Yes. Once Stripe payments are set up for your business, clients can securely pay project invoices—including deposits and final balances—through TaskTied. Contractors can see what has been paid and what remains due without manually reconciling each job.

Can I use TaskTied from my phone while I’m on a job?

Absolutely. TaskTied is available on iOS, Android, and the web, so you can upload a progress photo, respond to a client, check a schedule, or send an invoice whether you are at the office or standing on the jobsite.

What happens when a client requests a change?

Change requests stay connected to the project instead of getting lost in a text thread. TaskTied notifies you when a client submits a request, then gives you a straightforward place to review it, respond, and keep the conversation and decision history visible to everyone involved.

Is there a cost to get started?

Get started with a free 14-day trial. After the trial, TaskTied is $10.99 per month for the first user seat, plus $2.99 per month for each additional user seat. It is a simple way to try the full workflow before committing your team.

Can I invite an existing client to a project?

Yes. Import your existing client details, invite them into the project, and begin messaging, scheduling, sharing updates, and collecting approvals right away. You do not need to wait for a new lead to start creating a better client experience.
