Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you ("User", "you", or "your") and TaskTied LLC ("TaskTied", "we", "us", or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the TaskTied application, website at https://tasktied.com, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Services, you agree that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE TERMS, YOU ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM USING THE SERVICES AND MUST DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATELY.

2. Services & User Roles

TaskTied provides a project management and communication platform connecting contractors and clients for project estimates, messaging, scheduling, electronic signatures, and payments. Users register as either Contractors or Clients. You are responsible for ensuring that all account information provided is accurate and kept up-to-date.

3. Electronic Signatures (ESIGN / UETA Compliance)

TaskTied includes electronic signature capabilities for agreement on project estimates, proposals, and change requests. Under the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN) and Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA):

• Your electronic signature (whether typed, drawn, or executed via an "I Agree" prompt) constitutes your legal signature.
• Electronic records and signatures carry the same legal weight and validity as paper documents and manual ink signatures.
• System logs capture audit trails including UTC timestamps, user identity, IP address, and cryptographic document hashes to record contract authorization.

4. Payments & Stripe Connect

Payment processing services on TaskTied are provided by Stripe and subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. Contractors opting into online payment processing agree to maintain valid Stripe Connect accounts. TaskTied is not a financial institution or escrow agent and is not liable for dispute outcomes between contractors and clients.

5. Prohibited Activities

You may not access or use the Services for any purpose other than that for which we make the Services available. Prohibited activities include impersonation, submitting fraudulent project documentation, unauthorized scraping, or interfering with security features of the platform.

6. Account Deletion & Termination

You may terminate your account at any time via the in-app "Delete Account" feature located in your Profile settings. Upon account deletion, your user data and profile will be permanently removed from active databases in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT WILL TASKTIED LLC OR OUR DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
